Meet our instructors and officials
With over 100 years of Karate experience between them, our four Senseis are all DBS (CRB) checked, first aid trained and qualified black belt instructors. Find out more about each of them below.
As well as our instructors we are lucky enough to have an active community of members that help with the day-to-day running of the club and its events. Some of our officials are recognised below.
All of our instructors are first aiders, having been certificated by either St John Ambulance or the British Red Cross. Our first aiders are listed below:

We do not currently have any Trainee Instructors.
We encourage those interested in tournaments to compete or officiate. We are delighted to have Jim Mateer as a qualified judge, who has officiated at numerous tournaments across the country.
Our Warriors Karate programme introduces children aged 5–7 to Karate. These classes run with high ratios of instructors and assistant instructors in order to deliver the high standard of programme we wish to offer - giving children the best possible start to their Karate career. We are pleased to encourage our youth dan grades to take part in a Young Leaders programme and currently have several trainees.
