The Long Ashton dojo opened its doors in September 2018. If you're interested in learning Karate then we'd like to welcome you to Bristol Karate Academy in the Keeds Sports Hall at Long Ashton Community Centre.
We are delighted to bring a traditional, Japanese Karate to the people of Long Ashton and the local vicinity, including Bower Ashton, Failand, Southville and Bedminster. Those familiar with the Karate world will recognise us for our experience, expertise and traditional Karate values. Before starting with just any Karate group, it's important to ask yourself whether the instructors have the appropriate experience to run a club. While passion for martial arts is important, at Bristol Karate Academy we think there's more to it than that. Our instructors here have at least 10 years of experience, are at least 3rd Dan in rank, are first aid trained and DBS (CRB) checked.
Our clubs offer children, adults and families the opportunity to learn the most widely practiced style of Karate in the world (Shotokan Karate) from the championship-winning Bristol Karate Academy team. We currently have spaces for new starters. Get in touch today and come along to give traditional Karate a try.
Classes take place on Tuesday evenings. If you're interested in training on other days, you can find out about the opportunities offered by our other Bristol Karate Academy venues by visiting our venues page.
If you want to join us then get in touch using our contact form, email us or pick up the phone. We'd love to hear from you.
