Congratulations to our latest group who finished a 12-week ‘Bushido Warriors’ Karate course last night! Fourteen children aged between 5 and 7 learnt to kick, punch and block. Each child also learnt how to apply their blocks and punches with a partner, as well as learning a Karate Kata.

A quick reminder to all of our members that we are closed on Good Friday (30th March) and Easter Sunday (1st April).

With the exception of these two dates, all classes remain in place over the Easter period. As our members have come to expect, we don't close for school holidays, so all of our other classes - including on Wednesday 28th March at Nailsea School and Thursday 29th at Westbury-on-Trym village hall - remain in place.

Thank you to everyone that supported the Bristol Karate Academy Christmas Party on Sunday. It was a fantastic evening with music, food, Father Christmas for the kids and mulled wine and cider for the adults.

Congratulations to the 27 Academy members that passed their grading examinations today under Sensei Bob Poynton in Oldland Common, hosted by Bath Shotokan Karate Club. The standard displayed by our members was excellent, with everyone passing in full.
