With over 120 years of karate experience between them, our Senseis are all DBS (CRB) checked, first aid trained and qualified black belt instructors. Find out more about each of them below.
As well as our instructors we are lucky enough to have an active community of members that help with the day-to-day running of the club and its events. Some of our officials are recognised below.
All of our instructors are first aiders, having been certificated by either St John Ambulance or the British Red Cross. Our first aiders are listed below:

We currently have a number of black belts that help with our classes. Thank you to everyone for your hard work and contribution.
We encourage those interested in tournaments to compete or officiate. We are delighted to have Jim Mateer as a KUGB-qualified judge, who has officiated at numerous tournaments across the country.
Our Warriors Karate programme introduces children aged 5–7 to Karate. These classes run with high ratios of instructors and assistant instructors in order to deliver the high standard of programme we wish to offer - giving children the best possible start to their Karate career.
