BOOK NOW FOR SPECIAL SEMINAR WITH SENSEI FRANK BRENNAN

We are delighted to invite you to a special seminar on Sunday 14th July, as we welcome the internationally renowned Shotokan Karate exponent Sensei Frank Brennan (8th Dan) to Bristol! Booking is NOW OPEN!

As a competitor, Sensei Brennan is a former JKA World Team Champion, WSKA World Champion, 4-time ESKA European Grand Champion and countless times British Grand Champion.  As an instructor, Sensei Brennan is always in high demand, teaching across the UK and abroad, so we’re delighted that he’s made time in his schedule to visit the South West. 

This latest seminar takes place at Nailsea School on Sunday 14th July and will consist of two classes plus a KUGB grading for those eligible. Club members that aren’t sure if they will be eligible should check their My Grading page online, where you can see whether you’ve completed enough sessions and have permission to grade. Permission to grade will be given at one of our special pre-grading classes (see the information sheet for full details of when these will take place).

This event is open to non-members. Running times are as follows: 
  • Venue opens: 11.30am
  • All-grade seminar: 12.00-1.30pm
  • Kyu grading: 1.30-2.45pm
  • Dan grade seminar: 3.00-4.30pm
Depending on the number grading, the start and finish time of the Dan grade seminar may be delayed by a maximum of 20 minutes.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Registration for both members and visitors from other clubs is now open! You can book in person or by emailing us. You don’t have to be grading in order to join the seminars.

If you’re hoping to grade, please read the grading-specific information in our information sheet to make sure we can accept your booking.

PRICES 

Payment for the course may be made in person at one of our classes or by online transfer to the club’s account (please contact us for details). 

Training and grading prices for those eligible to grade
Early bird price (booked by Wednesday 3rd July): £20 for BKA members, £25 for non-members
Booked by Wednesday 10th July: £25 for both members and non-members

Single seminar: £10
Both seminars for those on a Gold or Platinum Membership (dan grades only): £15
Both seminars (dan grades only): £20

Late seminar bookings/on the door (if space)
Single seminar: £15
Both seminars (dan grades only): £25
