We're delighted to invite you to a special seminar with Sensei Remi Jurgilaitis!

Booking is now open for the event on Saturday 12th July. We welcome members and also guests from other clubs and karate associations.

For many years now, Remi Sensei has been a standout talent within the JKS England squad, paving the way for others to follow.

He started karate in his native Lithuania in 1999, where he later became two-times Lithuanian Champion and Baltic States Champion. Amongst his other titles, he’s also become WKC World Champion in 2012 and Funakoshi World Champion in 2013.

Last year was a milestone year for Remi Sensei, seeing him win the EKF Engish Championships, the BKF British Championships and earning a silver medal, captaining the JKS England kumite team at the JKS World Championships in Tokyo.

As well as hosting Remi Sensei, we're holding our summer kyu grading exams. Those people from novice to 1st kyu with permission to grade are also invited to book in now!

Bookings must all be made online and are taken subject to our booking terms and conditions.

If you’re hoping to grade, you must have a JKS England licence book and have received permission to grade before booking. You must also hand in your JKS England book before the booking deadline. Please read the grading-specific information in our seminar guide to make sure we can accept your booking.
