FIFTEEN MEDALS AT JKS NATIONAL CHAMPS
By Admin

Fifteen medals – spread across all age groups – showed that Bristol Karate Academy competitors are doing incredible things!
Yesterday our team travelled to Grantham Meres Leisure Centre for the JKS England National Championships. And what a day it was! Five tatamis ran for 10 hours straight, in order to get through the hundreds of entries at JKS England’s showpiece event of the year. And Academy competitors showed their mettle and shined - in a quality field.
Amongst so many top performances, the moment of the day may well have been in the Senior Inclusive Kata event, where Cameron Mitchell showed what he was made of, earning himself a silver in his first ever tournament. We’re all so proud of you, Cameron!
At a national event, the level of competition is tough. What was remarkable was the level at which every competitor performed at, bringing the best versions of themselves to the mat. You can all be thoroughly proud of yourselves!
