An incredible set of results for the Academy team at the Central England Open on Sunday 7th July!

The Central England Open is one of the biggest tournaments on the U.K. circuit. There were over 1,200 entries and 84 clubs and federations represented.

All of the performances from Academy competitors throughout the day were phenomenal, showing everyone the BKA way. We demonstrated solid through to spectacular karate and, critically, excellent attitudes and determination, no matter the result. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

Bristol Karate Academy competitors took an amazing 15 medals in total, including our competitors representing the JKS England squad. This put us 10th out of 84 clubs and federations.

It was particularly pleasing to see excellent performances and placings right across the divisions: adults, teens, kids, men, women, Dan grades and Kyu grades.
