Bristol Karate Academy

Six medals at the Southern England Karate Open yesterday! Despite this being a southern championship, it was quite the journey to get from Bristol to Canterbury, where the event is held - but it was certainly worth it!

Well done to our team of four who all medalled. With only a small team, it was particularly pleasing to see medals across children, senior and veteran events and both kata and kumite medals secured.

SILVER for Juan Rodrigues in +84kg Male Kumite
SILVER for Tim Griffiths in Senior Male Kata
SILVER for Dan Salter in Veteran Male Kata
BRONZE for Dan Salter in Senior Male Kata
BRONZE for Nephele Metsiou in 12-13 yrs Female Kata
