MEDALS AT FIRST TOURNAMENT OF 2023

Our medallists from the 2023 KSE championships
A good day out at the KSE Championships in Gloucester on 5th March, with medals across the age groups! Here are the results from Bristol Karate Academy competitors:

GOLD for Tim Griffiths in age 40+ open grade kata
BRONZE for Luke Mashford in age 5-8 under 3rd kyu kata
BRONZE for Alistair Hanlon in age 12-15 open grade kata
BRONZE for Alex Whalley in age 16-39 under 3rd kyu kata

Beyond the medals, there were a number of good performances that our competitors can take some useful learnings from. We'll go away and work hard, ready to come back stronger at the next event, in a year that has the potential to be a busy one for anyone that wishes to compete.
